An alternate opinion

Not everyone who has heard about this movement or my project has been supportive. Here is an email that was forwarded to me from a past senator of the Colorado State Congress when she was told of my project:

"Probably all these kids are being sent to school on their parents hard earnings and have the opportunity to better themselves in universities and colleges. They are also eligible for Pell grants and myriads of other scholarships. What a great country we live in. And what are corporations? Faceless people or (real) PEOPLE, just like your mom and dad, and us... Are there other countries that you are trying to model yourselves after in which you would have better opportunities, like Russia, Lithuania, Uganda, or Egypt. It would be great to have such a discussion so we could improve our educational system. It's run by the NEA, one of the biggest unions in the United States. Perhaps they can give us a roadmap to prosperity. Or, we could have another failed stimulus package from Mr Obama..."

Blog question: Do you believe this movement is advocating for more socialist ways of thinking in American politics?
